As always, the Run to the Sun will be held on Thanksgiving weekend, Saturday, November 30th, 2013 in beautiful New Smyrna Beach, Florida. It is a timed 4-Mile distance that travels over 2 bridges for a lovely view of the river which presents a challenging course. For walkers, this course offers a chance to view the sunrise, dolphins at play and boats heading out to sea in the quaint town of New Smyrna Beach. This unique route is like no other traveling from Riverside Park over the biggest bridge in town towards the beach and then back over a nostalgic drawbridge at the North Causeway heading back to Riverside Park.
